Dallas Comic Con 2013

The Dallas Comic Con back in May was awesome!  Daddy dressed up as the character Jayne from Firefly.  Claire and I dressed up like Princess Leia, and my little brother Evan dressed up as an Ewok.  Now I'm going to show you the people we got our picture taken with.  First we got our picture taken by the Dallas Comic Con entrance.  My sister and I got our pictures taken with Princess Leia, Anakin and Padme, Batman, Catwoman, Superman, Snowtrooper, Boba Fett, Merida, Wall-E, Power Ranger, Han Solo, Iron Man, Jedi Knight, Wonder Woman, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper, a Jedi gang, Spiderman, Darth Vader and an Ewok.  

It was cool that tons of people wanted their picture taken with Claire and I too because we were dressed like Princess Leia.  My Grandma made Claire and I the Princess Leia costumes. I think the belt is pretty cool.  We entered in the children's costume contest.  When it was our turn we got up on the stage and posed in front of 260 people and we were not nervous at all.  There were so many flashing lights because we got our pictures taken a lot.

My sister Claire thought it was so cool to get her picture taken with                       her favorite superhero Spiderman.

My Sunflower

This is my full grown sunflower.  It was exciting when I first saw it full grown.  Even though Evan and Claire's flowers didn't grow they took good care of them.  I love flowers!  Do you? I sure do love flowers especially the sunflower!  What is your favorite kind of flower?  

This is how much my Mom's basil has grown.  It grows very slowly.  We plan to use this herb in different recipes we want to make.

Gardening

Today we transplanted our flowers in flower pots.  My flowers became 4 and a half inches tall.  I love planting!

   My sister and I are putting soil in the pot.

Now we are putting  in the sunflower seeds.  I heart planting!!  

Now I am transplanting my sunflowers. 

 Hip hip hooray!!!! A garden finally!!

We did it!  We did it!  Yay! 

I am raking.  I made a BIG pile!  It was fun!  There was a ton!!!  

My mom helped and Claire helped too!

While I was bagging the leaves Claire 

was making a big mud puddle...

I  filled 4 bags.  It was a lot of work!

 We took the bags of leaves to the garbage cans.

We have a new indoor plant!!  It is basil.  My mom wants to make a dish that comes with tomato, basil, and mozzarella.  

Today also was Earth Day.  It was fun!
